The main goals and objectives of the Laboratory of Biotechnology and Plant Physiology: The main objectives of the Laboratory of Biotechnology and Plant Physiology are: – coordination, provision and implementation of fundamental and applied research in the study of systems of regulation and management of adaptation processes of desert plants, fruit, nut and ornamental crops, as well as the influence of external factors on these processes for the development of methods for express diagnostics of plant resistance. Improving the quality of products, improving the state of production and the environment, creating favorable working conditions for the production of quality products, preventing occupational diseases. – Carrying out independently and jointly with interested organizations of scientific research on the cultivation of desert drought and salt-tolerant plant species, optimization of conditions for plant cultivation in vitro. Accelerated reproduction of promising species, forms and introduced varieties of crops. Preservation of valuable genetic material in vitro. Carrying out scientific research aimed at developing new and improving known methods for obtaining new genetic material based on biological and chemical methods.
