In the rapidly developing world of global changes, the state that directs its resources to innovation and scientific development of the country will be strong. To strengthen our position on the world stage tomorrow, we need to pay attention to the latest technologies and intellectual development today. The policy of the President of our country covers all these areas – great attention is paid to the development of innovations and funds are allocated for the comprehensive development and prosperity of science. In particular, in accordance with the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures to support talented youth engaged in scientific and innovative activities” dated April 19, 2021 No. 222, the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Fund for Financing Science and Innovation Support organize short-term scientific internships for young scientists in leading foreign scientific organizations. In order to sum up the results of scientific internships organized until the end of 2022, as well as to familiarize scientists from research institutes and higher educational institutions with the selection procedures, December 20 this year. a round table named Young Scientists Alumni Reunion 2022 was organized. During the event, Bunyodjon Okhunov, Executive Director of the Fund for Financing Science and Innovation Support, delivered a welcoming speech. During his speech, he managed to present information on the work done to fulfill a number of tasks set by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. In particular, he made a presentation that clearly reveals specific figures and facts about the training of young scientists of our time. As a result, it is seen that from 2018 to the present, funds in the amount of about 18 billion soums have been allocated to send 471 young scientists to more than 30 developed countries of the world, such as Russia, the USA, Germany, Great Britain, South Korea, Israel for scientific internships. During these trainings, our scientists conduct scientific research in cooperation with professionals in their field, exchange experience and strengthen cooperation with foreign research organizations. In addition, during the event, young scientists who managed to improve their skills in scientific internships made presentations and exchanged experiences. 7 young scientists who took part in these internships were appointed regional coordinators. The task of the coordinators is to advise and guide young scientists who are going on an internship in the future on various organizational and scientific issues, based on their best practices. At the end of the event, 326 young scientists who won the competitions held in 2022 were also awarded special certificates.
