In order to improve the pollination of agricultural and other crops grown at the Samanbay Scientific and Production Site of the International Innovation Center of the Aral Sea Region, on July 15, 2019, 10 bee families from the Gulbak-Lalazar dekhan farm of the Kegeyli region were brought. Bee families mainly consist of breeds “Karpat” and “Karnika”. With the participation of the head of the Gulbak-Lalazar dekhkan farm, Nurmanov Zhumabay, beehives were placed in the relevant parts of the site, to ensure their active life.
In the future, these bee families can become the object of innovative projects, and also serve to demonstrate beekeeping to interested individuals.
