Today, on June 24 of this year the Federal Ministry of Education and Scientific Research of Germany is holding a conference on the CLIENT II program in Almaty, Kazakhstan, within the framework of the opening of the CASIB project office (Central Asia Sustainable Innovation Bureau). The CLIENT II program supports scientific and practical projects in the field of sustainable agriculture and resource use, climate protection, adaptation to climate change and sustainable energy systems.
The main purpose of this event is to establish and strengthen ties between Germany and Central Asia in the scientific and commercial field, for joint cooperation.
Currently, Muratbay Ganiev, Deputy director of the International Innovation Center for the Aral Sea basin under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, is participating in this conference with his report on the topic: “The Aral Sea Zone: Research – Innovations – Implementation”.
However, it is important to note that the conference is attended by representatives of international organizations who have the opportunity to finance projects in Europe, Germany, and Central Asia in various areas.
After hearing the report of M. Ganiev, the majority of representatives of international organizations participating in this conference expressed their views on the consideration and financing in the appropriate order of the proposal of the International Innovation Center for the Aral Sea Basin, on bioenergy, environmental and economic direction in the Aral Sea zone.
