In fulfillment of the protocol (paragraphs 52 and 53) of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 21, 2018, the 20.3 hectares of land were allocated to the International Innovation Center of the Aral Sea region under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan (hereinafter, IICAS) for a period of 30 years from the State Land Reserve, on the territory of VAC “Tik uzyak” Muynak region of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, to create experimental and demonstration sites for conducting scientific, practical and innovative research in the area of Aral sea region.

Of the total allocated 20.3 hectares of land;

1.0 ha – irrigation furrows, (ditches and aryks)
0.6 ha – land that is not used in agricultural production
18.7 ha of arable land

This piece of land with an area of 20.3 hectares, has not previously been used in agriculture and was released from crop rotation.
