As planned, in the next stage of their visit on August 16-17, a delegation of students from the University of Hanover (Germany), together with representatives of the International Innovation Center of the Aral Sea region, made a trip to the drained bottom and the water part of the Aral Sea. Here, students got acquainted with the local flora, studied the area and took soil and water samples for further research. At the end of the trip, the participants of the trip arrived at the scientific and production site “Muynak” and the guests were given a tour of the site, they were shown the work and projects being implemented in order to mitigate the consequences of the environmental crisis of the Aral Sea.
